The proximity to the train and bus stations was convenient, with porters available for a fee – a must in Venice's labyrinthine streets. the rooms, while not extravagant, were clean and met expectations, though showing a bit of wear. the highlight was the accommodating staff, who kindly arranged for an early breakfast takeaway upon our departure. While the hotel lacked some modern amenities, such as updated furniture, the complimentary Wi-Fi and hearty breakfast offerings were pleasant surprises. the comfortable bed and ample hot water were appreciated after a day of exploring. However, for the discerning traveler seeking a blend of affordability and comfort, this hotel's value proposition shines through its prime location, friendly service, and basic yet satisfactory accommodations. Considering the balance of cost and luxury, it proved a worthwhile choice for a practical stay in Venice.
